After taking the ferry to the Classic Rock Stage, we quickly unloaded our equipment.  Fortunately
we were early because we were asked to cover for the first band that had cancelled (who cancels
S-fest?).  That left a bit of a problem - a revised setlist, and getting Ray and J.T. there ASAP.
Patiently waiting for J.T. to show up (early), Tom (stage manager) and Steve let him
in at the gate and greeted him with a friendly "get your sh*t together Taylor!!!!"
We started at 1:30 - an hour and a half earlier than scheduled: what professionals!
It left little time for backstage banter, but we took a short break between sets to sit in our chill chairs.
Then, it was time to for some rockin' rhythm and blues, the sound, weather, and fans were all great.
Wild Fans, a Summerfest hex, a toast, and a few exchanged phone numbers (not you van dude) - success.
J.T. seems to think we should have opened for Steely Dan instead - perhaps next time.
